Chronic persistent hepatitis

Chronic persistent hepatitis is mild liver inflammation (swelling and irritation) that may be caused by various viruses and conditions. Most people have no symptoms. Risk factors include previous viral hepatitis, having lupus or other autoimmune disease, and taking certain medications.
