Inevitable abortion
Definition:
Inevitable abortion is a spontaneous abortion which cannot be stopped. It is characterized by lower abdominal cramping and bleeding. The uterine cervix is dilated and fetal and/or placental material may already have passed. See also threatened abortion. Alternative Names: Abortion - inevitable
