Salads and nutrients
Information:
Salads can be a good way to get your daily nutrients. However, not all salads are healthy or nutritious. It depends on what is in the salad: - If you have plenty of vegetables in the salad (the darker colored vegetables are generally healthier), then you are getting healthy, disease-fighting nutrients.
- Beware of dressings, oils, or mayonnaise in your salads. These may add unhealthy levels of fat to your salad.
