Pantothenic acid; Pantethine; Vitamin B5 Side Effects There are no known deficiencies of either pantothenic acid or biotin. Large doses of pantothenic acid do not cause symptoms, other than (possibly) diarrhea. There are no known toxic symptoms from biotin.
