Depilatory is a product used to remove unwanted hair. Depilatory poisoning occurs when someone swallows this substance.

Hair removal agents poisoning

• Sodium or calcium hydroxide (alkalis), which are quite toxic
• Barium sulfide
• Thioglycollates
