Pain, lacquer, and varnish removers may contain the following poisonous ingredients:

• Benzyl alcohol
• Ethanol
• Formic acid
• Methyl alcohol
• Methylene hydrochloride
• Naphtha
• Xylene

Paint, lacquer, and varnish removers are sold under various brand names.
