Symptoms

Eating parts of the plant causes a severe burning in mouth and throat. Other symptoms may include:

  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Swelling of mouth and tongue
  • Redness, swelling, pain, and burning of the eyes
  • Vomiting
