Low nasal bridge

The face

A low nasal bridge is a flattening of the top part of the nose.

Saddle nose

Decreased growth (hypoplasia) of the nasal bridge can occur with infections or genetic diseases. A decrease in the height of the nasal bridge is best seen from a side view of the face.

• Cleidocranial dysostosis
• Congenital syphilis
• Down syndrome
• Normal variation
• Other syndromes that are present at birth (congenital)
• Williams syndrome
