ALP test - leukocytes

A staining score of 20 to 100 (out of a maximum of 400) is considered normal.

Note: Normal value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories. Talk to your doctor about the meaning of your specific test results.

Higher-than-normal results may be due to:

• Essential thrombocytosis
• Leukemoid reaction
• Myelofibrosis
• Polycythemia vera

Lower-than-normal results may be due to:

• Aplastic anemia
• Chronic myeloid leukemia
• Pernicious anemia
