Arterial insufficiency
Definition:
Arterial insufficiency is inadequate blood flow through arteries. It can affect many different parts of the body. If brain arteries are involved, it can cause symptoms of stroke. The specific symptoms can indicate, to some extent, which artery is involved. One of the most common causes of arterial insufficiency is atherosclerotic disease. Text Continues Below
