(HealthDay News) -- Dyspepsia is a term that describes a pain or discomfort in the upper middle area of the stomach. The pain may persist, or come and go.
Dyspepsia may be caused by a stomach ulcer, acid reflux disease, stomach cancer (rare), use of anti-inflammatory painkillers, or it may have no apparent cause.

- Gnawing or burning sensation in the stomach.
- Bloating.
- Heartburn.
- Nausea.
- Vomiting.
- Burping.
